In a modern world of electric-washed skies, it is difficult to imagine the reigning majesty of such a sky overhead.
Nuit´s body is the pathway of the Sun in the sky in the day and her dress is spangled with the stars of the night sky.
Nuit "swallows" the Sun when he sets and "gives birth" to the Sun each morning at dawn, in her form of Meh-Urt, She of the original Birthing.
Thus she is the trascendet body through which the Night Sun travels on his miraculous journey of consciousness and she contains the twelve hours of the night that comprise the journey through the Tuat.
Her name, Nuit, is the femenine form of Nu, for water, because the sea on which Nuit rests is Mu, the primeval ether, the eternal space/time continum."
